My favorite book of all time would have to be The Hatchet. I liked The Hatchet because it was a great story about the boy whose plane crashed. I liked it because he was living by the will to survive. He even made his own bow and arrow. I was in 6th grade was when I first read the book. I liked it so much I read the sequel to it.

My Favorite book is the Bible and my favorite character is Jesus but my second favorite book is The Gun. I enjoy it so much because it shows how many kids now a day live in places that are highly populated with people. It talks about a Bully who gets knocked out and gets a broken arm trying to take someone’s money. The boy came back with a hard blow and defended himself and everyone started making fun of him while he was on the floor crying because of the pain. Now four days after he is urging to but a gun to shoot and possibly kill the boy that did this to him. It takes him a while and mean while he is trying to come up with the money he gats a new friend that really trusts him but he fails in her trust. At home he is having so much trouble with his father in the house. He keeps getting hit and also screamed at. He is still a boy. He has a brother who he was really close to but got taken to prison for holding up a gas station. They try to write but don’t have a chance. After a while he buys the gun he needed which was a really bad cheap gun and then he plans to kill the boy. The day he buys it the seller tells him a story that he had also killed a boy once and he can never get rid of the boys face. So he was warning him not to do it. To settle it another way. But he did the opposite and waited till the boy would start returning home from work and shoot him. It turned out that he jumped the boy and their they helped each other by nobody getting hurt. He gave the gun to the boy and they walked away as friends. That is the best book I read. I like it a lot. It shows what to do when you need help and what not to do when you get mad at somebody.

Brian’s hunt is probably my favorite book. I don’t know why probably because it had to do with like surviving on your own, being independent. I have always liked going out into the wood, doing things like that. I read this book when I was like in probably fifth or sixth grade.

My favorite book is Search for Safety. I enjoy this book so much because I like the fact how it has a lot of action to it and I love to read about action and I also like to read this book because I like the fact how the character is going through things we are going through today in are every day lives. It’s a book from now that was recommended by a class mate.

My favorite book is The Fountainhead by Ann Rand.
The story centers on an architect (Howard Roarke) who refuses to "fit in" by
designing buildings just like everybody else. The story goes to great depths in
identifying the importance of defining yourself rather than living
up to what others expect of you or what others think of you. The other theme in
the book deals with the way that the media influences the perceptions of people
in society. It is funny that a book written so long ago could accurately see the
way that the media would effect society. - Dave Murphy

1. My favorite book of all time would The Gun because its about a boy that’s my age. The boy always gets in trouble so I can relate. The setting takes place in a bad neighborhood.
